So nice to meet you! First off, what’s your name? Tell our readers a bit about yourself—where you’re from originally and where you live now.

My name is Kai Boyer. I’m the founder of Thera Glow Labs and Thera Glow Rx, two companies focused on biotechnology, longevity, regenerative wellness and personalized healthcare. I’m originally from Palm Springs, CA, but have been based in beautiful Orange County, California, for the past 15 years.

As a former NCAA athlete, I’ve always had a passion for health, fitness and understanding how we can optimize the human body from the inside out. My entrepreneurial journey in the health and wellness industry began in 2014, and after years of research, I founded Thera Glow Labs in 2024.

What started as a passion for peptides and performance optimization has evolved into a much larger mission: bridging the gap between cutting-edge healthcare innovation and accessible, personalized wellness solutions.

I’m incredibly passionate about entrepreneurship, pushing boundaries and building businesses that have the potential to change the way people approach their health, longevity and overall quality of life.

One thing I love about Orange County is how we are on the cutting edge of trends, especially when it comes to health and wellness.

Tell us a little more about what your company does and how it started. How does it help your customers?

What initially began as a peptide-focused company has evolved into something much bigger. Today, Thera Glow Labs is a premium American biologics, biotechnology and regenerative wellness company offering a broad range of products and solutions, including research peptides, access to 503A and 503B pharmacy services through our partners, injectables, IV wellness solutions, exosomes, topical therapies and other innovative wellness offerings.

We work closely with medical practices, med spas, luxury hotels, wellness centers, fitness facilities and healthcare professionals to help them expand their services and bring innovative wellness offerings to their clients. Beyond providing products, we offer wholesale and white-label opportunities, education, sourcing support and strategic partnerships that allow businesses to introduce new offerings without having to build everything from the ground up.

As our vision continued to grow, we expanded into Thera Glow Rx, our telehealth initiative, designed to help bridge the gap between patients and licensed healthcare providers through a more convenient and personalized healthcare experience.

What makes our approach different is that we're not simply focused on selling a product. We're focused on creating an entire ecosystem that connects innovation, quality, education and accessibility.

For our business partners, that means making it easier to introduce new services, expand revenue opportunities and deliver elevated experiences to their customers. For individuals, our goal is to help simplify access to qualified providers, reliable information and appropriate personalized healthcare options.

At the heart of both companies is a mission I'm deeply passionate about: making the future of health, wellness and longevity more accessible while never compromising on quality.

If someone wants to start a business, what advice would you give them?

My biggest advice to anyone wanting to start a business is to stop waiting for the perfect moment and just start. You will never have all the answers, all the resources or the perfect plan in place. Some of the most valuable lessons you'll learn will come from taking risks, making mistakes and figuring things out along the way.

Build something you're genuinely passionate about. Entrepreneurship is incredibly rewarding, but it's also challenging. There will be long days, unexpected setbacks and moments when you question everything. Having a genuine passion for what you're creating is what keeps you motivated when things get difficult.

What is one piece of feedback from a happy customer or client that you won't forget?

One of my favorite stories is about a customer who reached out to ask whether any of our products contained dopamine enhancers. I was curious, so I asked her what made her think that. Her response genuinely made my day. She told me that since she started using our products, she had been feeling so much happier, more confident and better about herself.

That conversation really stuck with me, because it reminded me that wellness is about so much more than physical appearance or performance. It's about how you feel in your own skin, how you carry yourself and the confidence you bring into your everyday life.

We couldn't know whether the products themselves were responsible for those changes, but hearing how positively she was feeling was incredibly rewarding.

Sometimes the biggest transformation isn't something you can see in the mirror. It's how someone feels about themselves. And a little boost in confidence can go an incredibly long way.

Where do you see your company in the future?

For Thera Glow Labs, my goal is to continue expanding our presence across medical practices, luxury hospitality, wellness destinations, fitness facilities and healthcare organizations. I envision our products and services being integrated into some of the most prestigious hotels, spas, wellness centers and medical practices around the world. I want to make innovative wellness solutions a natural part of people's everyday lives rather than something that feels exclusive or difficult to access.

With Thera Glow Rx, I'm especially excited about the opportunity to expand access to personalized healthcare through telehealth. My vision is to create a platform that connects individuals with qualified medical providers and makes navigating their health and wellness options more convenient, approachable and personalized.

Ultimately, I see both companies working together to create a comprehensive wellness ecosystem that bridges the gap between biotechnology, medical innovation and everyday health.

But beyond growth, revenue or recognition, what excites me most is the potential to make a meaningful impact. I want to build something that genuinely improves people's lives while also creating opportunities for other businesses and healthcare professionals to grow alongside us.

My ultimate goal isn't just to build a successful company. It's to build a brand that helps shape the future of health and longevity.

What is the biggest misconception about your industry?

I think one of the biggest misconceptions about the peptide and regenerative wellness industry is that there simply isn't enough research or science behind it.

The reality is that peptides have been studied for decades, and many have played important roles in modern medicine. What people often don't realize is that peptides are naturally occurring molecules in our bodies that help regulate everything from metabolism and hormone signaling to immune function and cellular communication.

While some peptides have extensive clinical research supporting their use, others are still emerging and require larger, more comprehensive human studies. I think it's important to recognize the difference between a treatment that hasn't been researched and one where the research is still developing.

Unfortunately, the entire industry often gets grouped together, and that can overshadow the legitimate scientific advancements taking place. I truly believe we're only scratching the surface of what regenerative medicine and peptide science may be able to accomplish. The future of healthcare is evolving, and I want Thera Glow Labs to be part of making those advancements more accessible, while ensuring that innovation and responsible medical practices go hand in hand.

What has been one of your biggest struggles building your business, and how did you deal with it?

One of the biggest challenges I've faced building Thera Glow Labs has been navigating an industry that is constantly evolving, both scientifically and from a regulatory standpoint.

The peptide and regenerative wellness space is incredibly innovative, but it's also an industry where regulations, public perception and access to reliable information are continually changing. Building a company in that environment requires a tremendous amount of research, adaptability and persistence.

Another major challenge has been earning trust in an industry where quality and transparency can vary so significantly between companies. From the beginning, I knew I didn't want to build a business that simply sold products. I wanted to create a company that people could genuinely trust, with a strong emphasis on quality, education and long-term relationships.

I've dealt with these challenges by surrounding myself with knowledgeable people, constantly educating myself, building strong relationships with reputable manufacturers and pharmacy partners, and being willing to pivot when necessary.

Building a business is rarely a straight line. There are setbacks, unexpected obstacles and moments when you have to completely rethink your approach. But I've learned that some of the biggest challenges can also create your greatest opportunities.
