About Business Stories Magazine

Shining a light on the people building what matters

We publish long-form interviews with the founders, creatives and small business owners who are building something meaningful — in their own words, edited with care, and online for good.

Why we exist

There are a great many talented people doing remarkable work whose stories go unnoticed. Traditional press can feel intimidating, transactional, or simply out of reach if you are not already well known.

Inspiration comes in waves. Sometimes one thought or one conversation is what pushes a person to do something great. If a founder reads an interview here and recognises their own situation in it, the magazine has done its job.

How we work

Interviews run as a straightforward question and answer, so each feature stays in the subject’s own voice. Every one is reviewed and edited by our editor, and contributors get the chance to make sure their story reads accurately.

The goal is never to change someone’s voice. It is to give it a decent setting.

Los Angeles, CaliforniaWhere we work

Made in Los Angeles, with founders featured from every part of the country.

What being interviewed involves

  1. We come to you. We read a founder’s work, or coverage they already have, and write to them directly. There is nothing to apply for.
  2. You answer when it suits you. Written questions, no call to prepare for, no camera. Skip any you would rather not answer.
  3. You have the final read. We edit for length and clarity, then you check it. Nothing goes live that you have not seen.
  4. It stays put. Published at a permanent address, and never taken down. Corrections are made on the page itself.

As mentioned in

Business Stories Magazine has become the place where readers discover new founders, brands, services, and creative work they would not have found otherwise. Because the focus is on authentic storytelling rather than hard selling.

Why founders work with us

It stays in your own words

The interview runs as a straightforward Q&A. You answer as yourself, and you see the piece before it goes live — nothing is published that you have not read.

It is genuinely easy

A set of questions, answered whenever it suits you. No camera crew, no calls you have to prepare for, no press training required.

A real editor reads it

Every interview is edited for length and clarity by our editor, so the finished piece reads like a magazine feature rather than a form submission.

It tells the story properly

A clear, credible account of how the business actually came about — the kind of thing that is genuinely hard to write about yourself.

It stands as press

A published feature to point customers, partners and investors to, with full use of our publication logo on your own site and materials.

It shapes what people find

A permanent, indexed page under your own name, so someone searching for you turns up your story rather than nothing at all.

It reaches our readers

Features are shared with our audience, including a post on our verified Instagram account, so the story does not just sit on a page.

It does not disappear

Interviews stay online at the same address, and corrections are made in place, so a link you shared last year still works today.

Two things we promise

We do not un-publish

Interviews stay online at the same address. A feature that quietly disappears is worth nothing to the person who sat for it.

Corrections are made in place

If something is wrong or has gone out of date, we fix it on the original page, so the link already shared with customers keeps working.

Who we are
