Tacandrya Patterson. I am a Poet and Scrabble Player. Born in New York. Raised in Milwaukee and Minnesota.

The lakes are beautiful and the people are wonderful and kind.

Tell us a little bit more about what your company does and how it started? How does it help your customers?

OptimismIC Wigs and Gifts was founded in 2015. We sell wigs and gifts in St. Paul, Minnesota.

If someone wants to start a business, what advice would you give them?

Do it and keep going!

What was one feedback from a happy customer/client that you won't forget about?

They were happy with their purchase.

Where do you see your company in the future?

Everywhere I hope! We recently won an Endurance Award and are celebrating 10 years in business!

What is the biggest misconception about your industry?

Wigs have evolved over the years and have become popular with most age groups.

What has been one of your biggest struggle building your business and how did you deal with it?

Continuing to run the marathon during hard times. You have to remain Optimistic and disciplined to achieve your goals and reach the finish line.

Who was your favorite music artist and athlete growing up?

Janet Jackson and Ray Allen shooting 3-pointers.
